This is a really nice dish – I made two small chickens with the spice rub, which worked just fine for our palate. The sauce is well worth making and maybe even doubling, as it would make a nice sweet/sour sauce for many things. It is a little more involved than the usual grilled chicken – but a good change of pace. I think I would spatchcock my usual way next time though – I missed the chicken backs for soup.
